Australian indie rock favourites Beddy Rays and The Terrys are teaming up for the co-headline tour of the summer, taking their tunes down the East Coast for a regional tour.

“WAKE UP MUM BEDDYS AND TEZZAS ARE GOING ON TOUR,” Beddy Rays wrote on Instagram yesterday (16 October). “Absolutely frothing to announce Beddys x Tezzas co-headline tour!! Hitting some regional spots down the east coast and we're that bloody keen to kick this one off! Tickets on sale now legends get on it!! Link in bio”.

The Terrys added, “TERRY RAYS TOUR THIS SUMMER 🌞 tix on sale now (link in bio). Going to be so much fun touring with our homies and got some epic support bands TBA. Share this post to your story and tag a friend to go into draw to win a double pass to your local show”.

The tour begins on Friday, 15 December, at the Beach Hotel in Byron Bay. From there, the co-headliners journey to the Kings Beach Tavern on the Sunshine Coast (16 December), Hoey Moey in Coffs Harbour (21 December), The Pavilion in Kiama (22 December), Hobart’s Unibar (5 January), the Torquay Hotel (12 January), Frankston’s Pier Bandroom (13 January), and concludes at the Commercial Hotel in South Morang on Sunday, 14 January.

Beddy Rays have been nominated for the 2023 The Triffid QLD Album Of The Year with their self-titled effort. “It’s a pretty special thing,” the band said about being nominated for the honour.

“We’ve been going to The Triffid for years and seen all the Brissy bands up on the wall, so it would be a huge honour for us boys to be up there. There will definitely be a few beers on the night if we win – but we’ll probably have a few if we don’t, too, just to be safe.”
