Becca Hatch Releases New Single, 'Blessed'

As she prepares to perform a string of live shows, Becca Hatch has today released her dance worthy track Blessed alongside its official music video. 

In a short span of time, Becca Hatch has become one of Australia's most exciting artists in the worlds of contemporary R&B and pop music. The Kamilaroi/Samoan artist has been on the radar of many since 2017 and since has since caught the ear of music fans across the country with her unique style of R&B which is driven by versatility and diversity, both sonically and lyrically.

While early on she became known for her prominence in the world of soul and R&B, Hatch has recently been focussing on the worlds of dance music, inspired by the worlds of disco, club and pop spheres. Earlier this year she released Without You and is now expanding that sonic imprint, releasing single Blessed alongside Tentendo.

Speaking on the single Becca says “Sometimes friendships fall apart. I wrote ‘Blessed’ about counting my blessings during difficult moments in my life. It's about the support I receive from my closest friends and family, but most importantly the encouragement I've learned to give myself.”

The track lands alongside music video directed by Matt Wilson and reflects on Becca's deep appreciation for her community. “The music video for ‘Blessed’ is inspired and produced by some of my favourite people in the world; my community,” Becca says. 

“They've been both the creatives that inspire me and friends that keep me grounded. It's not that deep, it's just us being ourselves.”
