Bec Sandridge Unveils New Single & Tour Dates

A powerful new song and music video

More Bec Sandridge Bec Sandridge

Preparing for a whirlwind overseas tour later this month, Sydney-based indie-pop maestro Bec Sandridge has released a powerful new single and confirmed a run of Aussie headline dates in support.

I’ll Never Want A BF is accompanied by a new clip, with the song itself dishing up theatrical vocals, fuzzed out guitars and more.

“Without a doubt this is the most autobiographical song I’ve ever written,” she said. “My Mum gave my number to a customer (a grandfather) to give to his grand son, when I had a girlfriend. It was pretty delegitimizing. Sorry Mum (I love you).”

The East Coast headline tour kicks off late November and Sandridge has teamed up with LISTEN for the three shows.

“Shows should always be inclusive and safe spaces,” she said.

“I want to ensure that everyone has a good time and that everyone feels welcome and celebrated.

“It means that behaviour like sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia and ableism simply aren't tolerated which is important and cool."
