The lauded producer has 10 shows scheduled around the country next month
Celebrated Aussie producer Basenji is getting academic for his next tour, heading out to a ream of tertiary institutions around the country on his just-announced 'Homework' tour — and, understanding the sorts of constraints under which modern students exist, it's totally free.
Granted, punters will have to register for a ticket via tour presenters V MoVement, but that's still better than having to choose between a night of sweet music and whether you get to eat for half the week.
Basenji will be riding the high he's no doubt experienced as part of Flume's North American tour this month when he kicks off his impending tour at Wollongong University's Uni Bar on Thursday 8 September. Throughout the 10-date run, he'll also stop in at watering holes on campus at Adelaide University, University of WA, Curtin University, the University of Queensland, Queensland University of Technology, Monash University, University Of Technology Sydney, University of Sydney and Swinburne University, where he'll bring his study of the drinking and dancing habits of the nation's adult student body to a close on Friday 23 September.
Basenji will be joined for all gigs on the tour by up-and-coming young producer Swindail. To register for a ticket, head to V MoVement's website.
