NITV & TikTok Are Live Steaming A Concert With Barkaa, Kobie Dee & More

NITV has tapped TikTok to deliver a live-streamed concert featuring Indigenous Australian artists including Barkaa, Kobie Dee, JK-47 and more.

The event takes place as a part of SBS' week of programming titled, See Us, Hear Us, Join Us, which invites viewers to explore the themes of Australian country and identity.

The curated bill will feature a combination of established and up and coming First Nations artists, including Becca Hatch, Nooky, Jesswar, Dallas Woods and Kaiit.

SBS Director of Indigenous content Tanya Denning-Orman has described the event as a place for "Australia’s diverse First Nations peoples, showcasing our experiences, perspectives and contributions".

"This year’s January 26th programming across the SBS network will reflect this once again," Denning-Orman said.

"Providing a platform for our voices to be heard, for an honest reflection of this country’s history and what’s needed for a more united and equal future. We invite all Australians to come together to join the conversation."
