"I guess I'm saying I'm done saying sorry."
Melbourne artist Banoffee (real name Martha Brown) has announced a huge national tour to coincide with the launch of her new single and video, I'm Not Sorry — an intriguing track with a captivating video to match.
The multi-disciplined muso has a show as part of Vivid Sydney coming up before she heads overseas to showcase her goods, so as part of her newly announced tour, she's slated in a curated party alongside Good Manners. Featuring Dro Carey, Lossless, Habits and more, the show will take place at Melbourne's Roxanne Parlour on 1 July.
The tour will also stop by Brisbane's The Foundry on 9 June, Sydney's Beach Road Hotel on 15 June, Perth's Babushka on 8 July and Adelaide's Rocket Bar on 9 July.
Meanwhile, Brown says of I'm Not Sorry, "It's a push back to all the things we've been told so many times we now tell them to ourselves. Women are brought up bound and gagged in shame for being different, for giving a shit, for being ambitious — all because we're powerful.
