More Band Of Skulls More Band Of Skulls

It's been a couple of months since Southampton stalwarts Band Of Skulls announced they'd be heading our way for a tour this June, and today the trailblazing trio have announced that Victorian quartet APES will be stepping into the hallowed shoes of support act for the journey.

APES have garnered themselves something of a reputation back Motherland way, with their debut single Seven scoring airplay on BBC Radio 1 and more-recent cut Goin' On being synced on SyFy's Being Human.

The tour will see the first Australian shows for Band Of Skulls since they were last here in 2012, so audiences will no doubt be faced with a wiser, stronger, more mature outfit than previously, though they are sure to have lost none of the energy and vitality that makes them such a widely renowned live act.

The tour forms part of the album cycle for Band Of Skulls' third LP, Himalayan, which is out now on Electric Blue Recordings. See the gig guide below for more information regarding venues and ticketing.
