'80s flashback, much?

More Bananarama More Bananarama

If you'd like to party like it's 1987 again, you're in luck. The biggest girl pop group of the '80s, UK's Bananarama have announced they'll be returning to Australian shores in 2016 for a national tour.

Still holding the record as the world's most successful (and arguably the most iconic) girl band with over 30 Top 40 hits in the UK and 40 million records sold worldwide, the quartet now only function as a duo — Sara Dalin and Keren Woodward — though they'll be packing their bags with their biggest hits like Love In The First Degree, Robert De Niro's Waiting, Venus and I Heard A Rumour.

They'll be bringing another '80s act along for the time travel trip — fellow UK new wave group Wang Chung as well as Australia's own girl group The Chantoozies.

Bananarama will be playing eight shows in total, stopping by Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide.
