Ball Park MusicAussie favourites Ball Park Music are here with your midweek pick-me-up via an acoustic version of their new single Spark Up!.
The Brisbane outfit’s latest track dropped mid-March around the same time as the COVID pandemic forced the country into lockdown, and so the new version of it, filmed at Prawn Records HQ amid iso restrictions, only features Sam Cromack and Dean Hanson.
When Spark Up! was released in March, Cromack noted that it’s “kind of a protest song”.
“It’s a song for those who are writhing in their skin,” he said.
“It’s a song for those who are dreaming of some other place. I don’t want to ruin the fun with an unnecessarily detailed explanation. I think the song speaks for itself.”
