Listen to 'Concertina' now!
Melbourne-based rockers Bakers Eddy have today released the stellar new track, Concertina.
The four-piece dropped the new tune along with a Mad Max meets Adam Ant inspired music video, featuring the band revving up an old sedan in the bush.
The song comes as the first taste of the group's debut LP, Love Boredom Bicycles, slated for release this October. A labour of love that came for the band after lockdown gave them a new perspective on their musical output.
“The whole record is supposed to sound like the life of the party,” lead singer Ciarann Babbington explained of the upbeat nature of the album.
“Concertina is the kick arse opener where you walk through the doors and everyone’s vibing and having a great time. And then it takes you through the journey of this party and then you’re left at like 5 o’clock in the morning, with like two or three people around, you’re gonna have a beer and go to bed. And you’re just reflecting, like, ‘That was a sick party, yeah.’"
