UK outfit Babyshambles will be extending their Australian tour this year as they've announced a string of Splendour In The Grass sideshows!

Splendour In The Grass 2013 has brought many good things to us already; a stellar lineup, a three day holiday, getting us in touch with nature (unless you're cheating and aren't actually camping) and a pool of sideshows.

Where we've already been told of extra Australian performances outside of the festival from acts such as Jake BuggFidlarJames BlakeWavvesHaim and Daughter, we can add to this monster of a list with the UK's BABYSHAMBLES!

Formed as a side project by Pete Doherty in the early 2000s after a publicised hiatus from The LibertinesBabyshambles eventually became the artist's primary band. They released their debut record Down In Albion in 2005, and their sophomore Shotter's Nation in 2007.

Since the second album, we hadn't heard anything but crickets from the Babyshambles front until the start of this year; news of a third record and their Splendour In The Grass festival slot!

But hey, all good things come in threes, right? Right! The dudes will be extending their visit with an Australian tour! They'll be riding their bandwagon through Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, and Perth.

In the meantime, check out their new ska number, 'Dr No (Sharks In The Water)' that they recently premiered in Paris.

For a group who were banned from playing Wiltshire's Moonfest in 2009 in fear that the crowd would get too rowdy, this tour is likely to be pretty crazy!

Tickets go on sale next Thursday, 30th May at 9am via Secret Sounds. Get on itttt.
