Azlock call it quits

Sydney hardcore/metal act Azlock yesterday announced they will be breaking up via their facebook page. "Due to a few different reasons, we have decided that 'Azlock' will call it a day. We leave this band at a point that we never dreamed of progressing to upon formation in 2007. Sean will be leaving us to move onto bigger and better things, joining the boys in Buried In Verona on guitar. We're stoked for him and wish him and the boys all the best for the future. Along with this, the new sound we've been aiming to capture in material we've been working on differs greatly from music we've created prior, and we feel that leaving this band as is at this point is the right thing to do as we progress musically and as individuals. We all remain best friends and we will all continue to work on music whether it be individually or a few of us together again.

We thank everyone who has ever watched us play, hung out with us, told a friend, bought a cd or shirt, given us a place to sleep, and thank everyone who has helped us grow by giving us shows and showing faith in us.

We will be playing a final All Ages local show that will be announced soon.

The boys will be playing an All Ages show at Engadine Community Hall on the 12th of August and a final All Ages show in their local area that is yet to be announced.
