The American rapper launches a scathing attack on Twitter
US rapper Azealia Banks appears to have taken aim at Aussie MC Iggy Azalea on Twitter, launching into a scathing attack on the Fancy hit-maker.
In a series of tweets posted by Banks earlier today, the rapper called out Azalea — who it is believed she referred to as "Igloo Australia" — for staying silent on "black issues" and accusing the Aus artist being a part of "wannable black girl shit".
It's not established as to what sparked the tirade, but Banks had earlier been tweeting heavily on about the Eric Garner case, which involved the death of the African-American man. Earlier today a hearing found that a police officer who was alleged to have put Garner in a chokehold would not be indicted over the incident.
Azalea has not responded to the posts.
