AWME Names International Delegates + Final Acts

More than 50 artists will hit Melbourne town this November as part of the event's showcase program

The Australasian Worldwide Music Expo has made its final announcement of performers for its 2014 event alongside the revelation of the full spread of international delegates that will be gracing venues across Melbourne city this November.

The new announcement takes the spread of artists past the 50 mark, with renowned performers such as Mojo JujuYoyo TukiUptown BrownThe Burundian Drummer Group Of Victoria and DJs Saca La Mois, Edd FisherJesse ILewis CanCutMr FishMzRizkMamacita BonnitaMike GurrieriMs Butt and Chant Down Sound all joining the roster. They step up to stand side-by-side with previously announced drawcards such as Ash Grunwald, Declan Kelly, Pete Murray, Hiatus Kaiyote, the Melbourne Ska Orchestra and Marlon Williams, plus many more.

 
 

In addition to the ear-pleasing array of artists on offer at AWME - held this year from November 13-16 around Melbourne - the conference component of the event has finalised its list of international delegates that will descend upon the Arts Centre in a couple of months.

Attendees will have the chance to hear internationally venerated industry personalities speak on a wide array of topics informed by their experiences with the disparate global music scenes in which they operate - Hungary (Sziget Festival's Fruzsina Szép), the US (Robin McNicol of Bonnaroo/Superfly Presents; Warren Smith of Sierra Nevada World Music Festival), Canada (Winnipeg Folk Festival's Chris Frayer; Harbourfront Centre/Planet IndigenUS' Melanie Fernandez), India (Divya Bhatia of the Rajasthan International Folk Festival), and even South Korea (Min Kim of Ulsan World Music Festival/Asia Pacific Music Meeting), among others.
