Swedish dance music superstar Avicii has this morning announced Australian dates for January as part of his 'True' world tour.

The 23-year-old has taken global dancefloors by storm in the past 24 months with the breakout of his club monster Le7els. Proving that he's a longevity beyond one or two singles his True album, released in September, has already spawned two singles, Wake Me Up and Hey Brother.

Incorporating soul and folk guest vocals into both of those tracks, he's one of EDM's true trendsetters in 2o13.

Playing four arena and outdoors show around the nation, general public tickers are on sale noon Friday 8 November.

There is a pre-sale for promoters Frontier on sale noon Wednesday 30 October.

Brisbane and Perth are all ages, Sydney and Melbourne restricted to 15 plus.
