Avenged Sevenfold ProfileOne of the most common questions heavy music loving kids around the country have been asking the team at Soundwave of late is whether or not monstrous alternative hard rockers Avenged Sevenfold would be playing shows outside of the festival. Well the answer is finally here and, luckily for the band's legion of fans, it is in the affirmative.
While in Australia the American hard rockers will play big shows at Sydney's Big Top and Melbourne's Festival Hall, we imagine bringing some pretty enormous shows to these venues, offering the massive experience many fans have been waiting ages to see in the flesh. They are metal superstars and their shows prove it; truly epic.
Joining them at the shows will be fellow Californian Soundwave visitors Five Finger Death Punch, who have been delivering their brand of heavy metal for almost a decade but whose members have been a part of the scene for far longer. Their shows have been raved about and we recommend you do some neck exercises as you'll no doubt be headbanging throughout.
The dates are below, both of them are all ages shows and tickets are on sale from Thursday morning.
Tuesday 25 February - Big Top, Sydney
Thursday 27 February - Festival Hall, Melbourne
