Aussie SXSW Meet'N'Greets Unveil 2015 Speaker Line-Ups

Industry experts will head to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in a couple of weeks to talk about Austin's annual mega-conference

The forthcoming annual series of SXSW Meet'N'Greets inch ever closer — the first iteration, in Melbourne, gets under way in less than two weeks — and now we know exactly who will be gracing the stage as speakers with the revelation of the line-up of industry experts bound for this year's events.

At Melbourne's Meet'N'Greet, at Bar Open on Monday, 13 July, attendees will be addressed by SoundsAustralia export producer Glenn Dickie, digital expert and SXSW veteran Monty Hamilton, SXSW film exhibitors Gus Berger & Christina Radburn and SXSW official agent and travel guru Brad Thomas, in a panel moderated by SXSW's Australia, NZ and Hawaii rep Phil Tripp.

The following evening, at Newtown Social Club in Sydney, Tripp will once again moderate the evening's proceedings, while Thomas will also make the trip north for the second event, this time backed by Channel [V] program manager and music director Julia Natoli, VML design director and multiple SXSW attendee Mark Berry, and Secret Sounds Touring general manager Marc Sousley.

Brisbane's event, at the New Globe Theatre on Tuesday, August 4, is still a little more of a work in progress, with so far Tripp and QMusic's Denise Foley standing as the first confirmed guests — but more will be announced in the very near future.
