An Australian man who was recently arrested for grabbing Ariana Grande at the Wicked: For Good premiere in Singapore was kicked out of last night’s Lady Gaga concert in Brisbane (9 December).

Johnson Wen, also known as Pyjama Man, is an influencer who has become famous for ambushing celebrities in public.

He made it onto The Weeknd’s stage at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium and charged onto Katy Perry’s stage at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena last year, and recently spent nine days in jail after grabbing Grande at the Wicked: For Good premiere in November.

Yesterday, he was spotted by Gaga fans, who texted the tipline at Suncorp Stadium to report antisocial behaviour. It seems Wen was sporting a wig in an attempt to disguise himself from being caught.

The @hey.itsbass account on Instagram shared a video of Wen, who was in the early VIP entry area before the concert started, and was escorted out of the venue by security. Bass said, “That’s the guy who tackled Ariana.”

Wen later took to social media and wrote alongside a selfie, “Got kicked out of the Lady Gaga concert. The show doesn’t start till 8 pm. The early fans were booing me.”

Last month, footage showed Wen jumping over a barricade at Universal Studios in Singapore and rushing towards Grande on the yellow carpet, putting his arm around her and almost pushing her into a barrier.

Grande’s Wicked co-stars, Cynthia Erivo and Michelle Yeoh, immediately moved to her defence.

Following the incident, Wen was convicted of “being a public nuisance.”

Upon facing court, Singapore District Judge Christopher Goh described Wen’s actions as “premeditated” and followed “a pattern of behaviour, which suggests that you will do it again.”

Goh added (per the ABC), “You seem to be attention-seeking, thinking only of yourself and not the safety of others when committing these acts.”

Wen was reportedly deported from Singapore and has been barred from re-entering the country.

Lady Gaga continues her MAYHEM Ball tour of Australia in Sydney, where she’ll perform at Accor Stadium on Friday, 12 December, and Saturday, 13 December. You can find last-minute tickets here.
