Aussie Hip-Hop Supergroup One Day Announce National Tour

30 June 2014 | 4:39 pm | Staff Writer

And an album to boot!

If you haven't been able to get Love Me Less, the infectious recent cut from Horrorshow, Spit Syndicate, Jackie Onassis and Joyride lovechild One Day, out of our head lately, you'll be pleased to know that the hip-hop collective has announced there's more where that came from, and you'll have a chance to see it in the near future.

Yes, the group's esteemed members have seen fit to treat audiences to the full One Day experience, announcing not only a forthcoming album – Mainline – but a massive national tour to boot.

The album will drop on August 1 via One Day Entertainment (Elefant Traks/Sony Music Entertainment), and it finds One Day drawing on the many achievements of its disparate parts – including Hottest 100 entrants, radio stalwarts, fledgling stars and certified international drawcards – to achieve an aural synergy that will be well at home in a live setting.

The flashy venues in which this tight-knit collective unleash their debut effort include Melbourne's 170 Russell, Hobart's Waratah Hotel, HQ in Adelaide, Perth's Capitol, the Enmore Theatre in Sydney, the Brissy branch of the Hi-Fi, and the ANU Bar in the nation's capital.
