He is currently gearing up to release his brand new EP, You'll Get It When You're Older, which is set to land on the 24th of February. In November he released its lead single Dizzy which is filled with wit and nostalgia, which manifests as an uplifting, euphoric pop record.
On Dizzy, Rose stated, “I wrote Dizzy because I wanted to create a song that felt like you're in a classic high school movie. Dizzy is about that insane feeling you get when you have a crush and they're giving you mixed signals that you just can't figure out.
"This song is a part of my EP ‘You'll Get It When You're Older’ which mostly focuses on drug addiction. It was important to me and felt right to include Dizzy because it brings a little fun and joy to an otherwise somber record.”
It's not just on record that Rose has been winning over the ears of listeners, with 2022 seeing him share the stage with some of the world's most acclaimed acts.
Early last year he joined girl in red on tour, before performing two headline shows in Los Angeles and New York. Throughout November and December, he performed alongside Dean Lewis right across Australia.
