A local group lost their spot on the Warped Tour for a while this afternoon.
A Brisbane band who were set to be officially added to all dates on the Vans Warped Tour were booted from the bill briefly this afternoon.
Call The Shots were kicked off the line up this afternoon after festival promoter AJ Maddah expressed a grievance with their manager.
Wow. So I tried to help a local Brisbane band by giving them a spot on 5 Warped shows. Offered them far more than they are worth....

Then their "manager" decides to get involved and act tough. Feel bad for the band because they are awesome. Now they get to sit at home :(

Members of the band took to social media to voice their dismay, vocalist Josh Setterfield sounding particularly upset about the scenario.

Guitarist Dion Cerreto didn't seem quite so fazed by the band's last minute snubbing, though.
I'm not even mad. So used to stuff like this. Haha.

The band's fans also expressed their grief via social channels.
@iamnotshouting That is so wrong, they've been working so hard. How can you crush their dreams like that?!

At 5pm, however, the band's management confirmed to theMusic.com.au that Call The Shots have been re-added to the bill, which was backed up by Maddah on twitter.
Thankfully the band themselves are far more charming, sensible and appreciative of the opportunity. It all worked out.
