Aussie Acts Score Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards Nominations

Troye Sivan, 5 Seconds Of Summer & more.

Aussie talent continues to have a huge impact overseas, with a number of local acts named among the 2019 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards nominees.

Perth artist Troye Sivan picks up a Favourite Global Music Star nomination, representing Australia and New Zealand and going head-to-head with the likes of Taylor Swift, Blackpink, David Guetta and more, while pop punkers 5 Seconds Of Summer are vying for Favourite Song with Youngblood, alongside the likes of Drake and Ariana Grande.

Meanwhile, Amy Shark, Dean Lewis and Ruel all score nods in the Aussie and Kiwi Favourite Music Maker category, going up against New Zealand artists Broods, Mitch James, and Robinson.

Public voting is now open until March 20, with the awards ceremony taking place on March 25 with host DJ Khaled.
