It's Ausmusic T-shirt Day! Here's Who 'The Music' Team Are Repping For 2019

Ausmusic T-shirt Day is officially upon us! 

It's one of our favourite days of the year here in The Music offices, with the team getting organised, chucking on some laundry and throwing on their favourite Aussie band shirts to help raise funds for the excellent work Support Act does. 

Here's who the team are repping today. We'd love to raise a stack of money for Support Act so if you'd like to make a donation, head here.

Paul is not only an Australian hero, but he also happens to be my boss’ idol. In an attempt to secure extra holiday leave, I thought this was a genius idea. Please don’t tell him.

Wearing: Cousin Tony's Brand New Firebird

I already liked Cousin Tony's Brand New Firebird, but they quickly became my new favourite band after seeing them play at the Espy last month. Their overwhelmed and incredibly humble response to a crowd that absolutely loved them was really special to watch. Not to mention the show was incredible!

As we are coming to the end of the decade it struck me as I was sorting through the pile of my Ausmusic T-shirts that it had been ten years since Nitocris played their last gig, so it seemed only apt to be donning this shirt from said show today. #timeforanotherreunion?

If you haven't listened to their Like A Version from today, rectify that error in judgement immediately. Then spin the record. Then go donate some money to Support Act. Then go down to Sally’s Place and back to Harry’s Station.
