San Diego rock band Augustana have reportedly had their van broken into while on tour, with thieves allegedly stealing electronic gear and items belonging to the band.
Augustana made note of the recent theft via their Twitter page:
“Van AND trailer broken into in Kansas City. Lots of stuff missing including 2 old tele's, old bass, records, Andy’s favorite shoes . . .”
The spate of thefts on music acts while on tour has seemingly become more prominent in recent times with bands such as Poison the Well, Comeback Kid and Torche each having property stolen at respective times over the past couple of years.
Augustana’s most recent studio album is 2008’s ‘Can’t Love, Can’t Hurt’.
