The boutique event will now take place across two venues

More The Breeders More The Breeders

The upcoming ATP Release The Bats Halloween festival has today announced a venue change due to sales, with the boutique event moving from its original home of The Westgate Entertainment Centre in Altona to two other Melbourne venues.

The fest, set to feature performances by The Breeders, Television, Fuck Buttons and host of others, will now take place at both the Palais Theatre and Prince Bandroom venues, with each acting as the main stage and second stage respectively. Organisers have said that the event's current "sales trajectory" is the reason behind the change.

Current ticketholders need not worry - their tickets will be valid for the new venues. There are only a limited amount of passes remaining though due to the smaller capacities of the Palais and the Prince.

The event recently lost one of its most anticipated acts in The Jesus Lizard, who pulled the plug on their Aussie tour due to "unforseen circumstances".
