Astral People Back-Up OutsideIn With New Concept Series

Carrying the momentum from the success of the second OutsideIn this year, Astral People have unveiled Concept, a massive back-to-back club series featuring Andy Stott, Shed, Phaeleh and Shigeto, set to explode into Sydney's The Basement in mid-November.

Concept will feature multi-venue parties and one ticket weekender passes merging Australia's sound systems with some of the world's most talented and local up-and-coming producers, kicking off on Friday 15 November and backing up the following night, Saturday 16 November.

Both making their Australian live debut, Berlin's UK hardcore, jungle and dubstep-combining Shed – endorsed by Modeselektor – and Manchester's dub-techno producer and master Andy Stott headline the Friday night.

Saturday's proceedings include Detroit's multi-instrumentalist Shigeto, returning after 2012's OutsideIn, and Bristol's cinematic electronica mastermind Phaeleh, both artists going head-to-head in what organisers describe as  bass music's comparison to Massive Attack, Smith & Mighty and Portishead.
