Association Of Artist Managers (AAM) has today launched their brand new mentoring program, Grow.
Grow, which is launched with support from the Victorian Government Music Recovery Fund and through Creative Victoria, is a "three month virtual pilot program designed to support and empower womxn of all ages who are artist managers running their own business in Victoria".
The program includes mentoring from leaders in business, mental health and wellness, law and more to help develop new business skills. Participants will also be awarded a bursary to support their work.
Grow aims to help participants "build new business plans, become more financially literate and build confidence in their leadership skills".
Additionally, AAM has today announced that the annual Co-Pilot program will run a special Victorian edition this year, in light of the affects of the Stage 4 lockdown on the Victorian music industry.
Co-Pilot sees emerging and developing Victorian artist managers paired with established managers for a four month mentorship which focuses on "supporting, developing and enhancing the capabilities of emerging artist managers".
