Icelandic sensation to treat Melbourne and Sydney with headline shows

Maintaining the country's track record of producing outrageously talented individuals, Iceland's latest export Ásgeir has announced that he'll be taking time to warm hearts and minds in Melbourne and Sydney with a pair of sideshows while he's in the country for Splendour In The Grass.

Ásgeir's debut album, In The Silence, has been critically acclaimed since its release, and Australia is quickly cottoning on to what UK and the rest of Europe have recently found out for themselves.

Pre-sale tickets for the shows will be available from 9am on Wednesday, May 7, to 5pm Thursday, May 8 to subscribers of Secret Sounds, Handsome Tours and venue mailing lists.

General tickets are up for grabs from 9am on Friday, May 9, from Secret Sounds,  Handsome Tours and Ásgeir's website.
