'This is a catastrophe for his tour.'
A$AP Rocky is being detained in a Swedish detention centre following an assault charge against the US rapper.
As The New York Times reports, a court has ruled that the 30-year-old hip hop artist be detained in Stockholm for the next two weeks following an altercation that occurred last Sunday.
Videos posted online showed Rocky throwing a man to the ground in a street in Stockholm, however the New York artist has maintained his innocence, alleging on Instagram that the two men he was involved in the altercation with were following him and his entourage.
In a video posted by Rocky at the time of the scuffle he says to the camera, "We don't want no problems with these boys, they keep following us".

The court's ruling will mean that a number of upcoming European shows have to be cancelled, including a headline set at London's Wireless festival tomorrow.
“He of course is very disappointed and this is a catastrophe for his tour,” Rocky's lawyer, Henrik Olsson Lilja, said.
Investigations into the altercation are continuing.
