In some very sad news out of the As Paradise Falls camp tonight, guitarist Glen Barrie passed away in his sleep on Monday.
In some very sad news out of the As Paradise Falls camp tonight, guitarist Glen Barrie passed away in his sleep on Monday.
Barrie (pictured left) reportedly passed away in his sleep on Monday, while over in Thailand at the Karma Sound Studios where the band were wrapping up the recording of their next album. The band broke the news earlier this evening, and have since stated that despite their heavy loss, the group will continue on to honour Barrie.

On Monday 9th November, we lost our brother, Glen Barrie.

He went to bed and simply didn't wake up.
We were coming to the end of our time in Thailand recording our Debut album and we were all loving life and creating something amazing together which we are to this day all very proud of.
Glen was living his dream, loving life and very excited for the birth of his son who is due early next year. If he could see the support that we have been receiving in this short amount of time from Friends, Family and Fans, he'd be so thankful for every kind word said to us and every moment spent thinking about him.
There has been a gofundme campaign set up to help raise some money for Glens Son and his wife Cassandra Barrie. We ask that you share whatever you can to help with their sons future.
In accordance with both Glens and Cass' wishes, we will continue as As Paradise Falls, this will not be the end of us. We have put our all into this album with Glen and will still be releasing it at a date to be confirmed.
We will never forget you mate.
