Applications are now open for artists wishing to participate in this year's Mullum Music Festival.

The boutique event is celebrating its seventh year in 2014 and will no doubt be looking to top last year's array of impressive performers, which included blind Mexican-born, US-based singer Raul Midon and Gotye's other musical project The Basics.

The first lot of  early bird tickets are also available to Mullum's website subscribers now.

Artists looking to apply should head to the website for more details. Entries must be submitted by Friday 16 May.
