The WA youth festival is seeking local unsigned bands
WA youth festival HyperFest has opened its annual unsigned band comp to WA-based acts for their chance to score a spot on the 2015 line-up.
The biggest youth run, all-ages music festival in WA with roughly 4,000 punters each year, 2014 saw WA locals Statues, Timothy Nelson & The Infidels, Scalphunter and more join headliners Spit Syndicate, Allday, and Cub Sport.
Applications for WA original unsigned bands, DJs, duos and solo artists opened today via the HyperFest website, and close Friday 14 November.
To be eligible, 50% of the band members must be under 30 years old, and able to play 20 minutes of original material.
