Armand Van Helden And Above & Beyond Lead 2026 Editions Of Electric Island Festival

Electronic music festival Electric Island will make a triumphant return in 2026, announcing its headliners, dates, and venues today.

The festival will take place in three cities in April 2026, starting at Glenelg Beach in Adelaide on Saturday, 11 April. The following weekend, Melbourne and Perth will host two-day events at Riva (Melbourne) and Cottesloe Beach (Perth) on Saturday, 18 April, and Sunday, 19 April.

American electronic music titan Armand Van Helden will headline the festival in all three cities, while Grammy-nominated dance act, radio hosts and label heads Above & Beyond will only perform in Melbourne and Perth.

Joining Armand Van Helden on all dates are local electronic royalty Flight Facilities, who will perform a DJ set. More acts are set to be announced for all three cities—stay tuned for more information as it rolls in.

Pre-sale tickets for these unforgettable beach parties will be available at 8 am local time on Wednesday, 22 October, followed by a general sale at 8 am local time on Thursday, 23 October. You can find more ticketing details on the Electric Island website.

Born in Australia in 2016, Electric Island has expanded from a boutique festival to a thriving annual event, becoming an essential part of Australia’s dance music scene. Over the years, the festival has hosted big names including Fatboy Slim, Eric Prydz, Jamie Jones, DJ EZ, Craig David, and many others. The 2025 edition of the festival sold 25,000 tickets across Electric Island and Electric Warehouse parties.
