It's a big week for Bliss N Eso, Gretta Ray & Ngaiire on the ARIA Albums Chart!

It’s another big week for local acts on the ARIA charts, but no one was able to stop Kanye West from debuting at #1 with Donda.

West claims his fourth ARIA #1 album, while also landing 19 tracks in the Singles Chart Top 50, breaking the record for most debuts in the Top 50 in one week (previously set by Taylor Swift with 16 in 2020) AND most tracks in the Top 50 in one week (previously held by Post Malone and Michael Jackson, both who had 17 each).

Donda blocked Aussie hip hop faves Bliss N Eso from debuting at #1 on the Albums Chart with their first record in four years, The Sun. The Sydney group debut at #2, claiming their fifth Top 10 entry, following on from 2017’s Off The Grid which debuted at #1.

They did manage to top the ARIA Vinyl Albums Chart, though.

Meanwhile, US artist Halsey debuts at #3 with If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power (read our review of the Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross collab album here), followed by CHVRCHESScreen Violence (#6), OneRepublic’s Human (#10) and The Bronx’s Bronx (VI) (#16).
