This year’s ARIA Awards will feature a special tribute to late Australian music icon and ARIA Hall Of Fame inductee Helen Reddy, following her passing in September.
With the ceremony set to go ahead on Wednesday, ARIA has confirmed that Amy Shark, Christine Anu, Delta Goodrem, Emma Watkins, Jessica Mauboy, Kate Ceberano, Marcia Hines, Montaigne, The McClymonts and Tones & I will perform 1972 feminist anthem I Am Woman during the event.
They’ll be joined by a virtual chorus that features Amy Sheppard, Christie Wheelan-Browne, Clare Bowen, Dami Im, Emma Donovan, Erika Heynatz, Fanny Lumsden, GRAACE, Kate Miller-Heidke, Katie Noonan, KLP, Missy Higgins, Mo’Ju, Odette, Samantha Jade, Teeny Tiny Stevies, Thandi Phoenix and Wendy Matthews.
Reddy's life and career were celebrated in the I Am Woman biopic released earlier this year, read our review here.
It has also been confirmed today that Kylie Minogue, Mick Fleetwood and Robbie Williams will present awards on Wednesday night, with a live-streamed pre-show kicking off from 4:30pm AEDT via ARIA’s YouTube channel, hosted backstage by Ash London and Mitch Churi.
