We've got you covered.

The Music team is once again on the ground at the ARIA Awards red carpet event, bringing you all the action from The Star in Sydney as it happens.

Sally & Erica (Triple J Breakfast)

Triple J's new breakfast team are the first down the red carpet! They're going to have to get used to being early, given their 2020 timeslot.

"I'm glad it looks like we're organised, because we're an absolute mess behind the scenes."

"I'm waiting for the day Hilltop [Hoods] win Best Children's Album. It'll happen eventually, but we'll beat them to it - write that down."

Woodes

“It’s just really exciting. I love the fashion side, obviously. I’m really looking forward to the performances, like Dua Lipa will be really cool, Thelma Plum will also be really good. We supported [Thelma Plum] a couple of months ago and she’s made such an amazing record – it’s really inspiring.”

Holy Holy

Timothy Carroll on being nominated for Best Rock Album alongside Amyl & The Sniffers, Jimmy Barnes, Midnight Oil and Skegss: “Given where we were a year ago, in terms of writing the album in a basement in Launceston and trying stuff, to be here and amongst those record feels really good.”

Genesis Owusu

"I've never been to an ARIAs and I don't really know what to expect. I'm kind of looking at it like it's a flowing sitcom around me and I'm just here enjoying the spectacle of everything."

Regurgitator's Pogogo Show

Ben Ely on being nominated for Best Children's Album: "I did not think we were going to be nominated for an ARIA ever again after the '90s, but it's really nice to come back and it means more to me now because it's related to my kids...I'm not so worried about The Wiggles, but maybe Dan Sultan."

What So Not

"I got back from China yesterday - I've been overseas for like five months - and just put on my neon Gucci and came down."

G Flip

"This shirt's from K-Mart and it's a bit see-through, so luckily I'm wearing a jacket [laughs]. I'm nervous as, it's weird. It's my first time doing anything like this, so for me, it's overwhelming and weird."

Kira Puru

Kira Puru is attending her second ARIAs. Here's what she's doing differently this year: "Just go harder. Go harder, go in deep, no regrets."

Baker Boy

"This is my first ARIAs and I'm really blown away. Everyone's dressed amazingly and looking fresh. It's amazing. I've had so much fun just walking around and talking with people and catching up with a lot of artists and people in the industry. It's so cool and I'm so blessed to be here and be nominated for three awards alongside some amazing artists, some I admired as a kid."

Stella Donnelly

"My mum and dad are with me and it's really nice. I just took a photo with Anthony from The Wiggles, so I can actually go home back to Perth now. I'm done, I'm happy."

Lewis Hobba (triple j)

He's been busy preparing a speech, just in case he picks up Best Comedy Release for Sex Flex: A Rap Guide To Fornication: "I'll say, 'I told you so, I always knew this was coming.' I'll name all of my haters individually, one by one, from primary school to now. It's going to be the longest speech in ARIA history."
