Nguyen became known for his unique Christmas light display in 2018 when a video of his light display went viral on Facebook. Since then, he has created dozens of different light installations that dance along to various EDM, techno or pop songs.
Speaking with The Age in 2018, Nguyen explained that “Each song takes around 14 days to program on my computer, so it flashes to the beat of the music. It takes me another few weeks or more to synchronise all the music to the lights."
Popular music duo Vini Vici also shared a video of Nguyen's work on Facebook in 2018, where he had programmed the lights to one of their most popular songs. Vini Vici captioned the post with "We Wanna Live In This Dude Neighbourhood... Next level Christmas Lights!"
The video now has over 10 million views.
