Applications Open For Bush Bands Bash

Indigenous bands across Central Australia are being encouraged to apply for the upcoming Bush Bands Bash.

The event, celebrating ten years in 2013, gives six indigenous acts the chance to perform in front of a massive Alice Springs crowd. On top of that though, in the lead-up to the gig, the artists selected are put through their paces in theBush Bands Business. This is a three-day development and rehearsal program, giving the bands first-hand mentoring experience and practice time.

Applications for the event, presented by MusicNT, are now open and will close on Monday 1 July. Check out the Bush Bands website for more details. The bash will take place Saturday 21 September.
