Legend Nile Rodgers has sneakily revealed he'll be playing at this year's Meredith Music Festival.
Meredith Music Festival has had a reputation as one of the most interesting music festivals in Australia. In 2012 we saw GRIMES jump on board as well as PRIMAL SCREAM, FOUR TET, TAME IMPALA and Brisbane music legends REGUGITATOR, and now in 2013 a living music mastermind has announced a performance at this lovely event.
DAFT PUNK collaborator and CHIC leader NILE RODGERS has subtly added a listing on his official tour page for Meredith on December 14, as a few media outlets have somehow tracked down. The tour page also lists various other tour dates in Sydney (New Zealand?), Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth which are no doubt sideshows that NILE RODGERS has booked alongside his festival appearance.
This will be Meredith's 23rd year and who better to start off the line-up than this wonderful man! The rest of the line-up isn't set to be released until August, however this year is bound to have a stellar line-up since the first artist has been revealed and pretty darn insane. The Meredith Light Show will also bring along numerous punters and thank god for the one stage set up because this means none of us will miss any of the action!
