INXS Member Really Just Said He Misses The Days Where You Could Slap A Woman On The Butt...

Yes, really...

More INXS INXS

INXS guitarist Kirk Pengilly has yesterday stated that he loved the days where "you could slap a woman on the butt and it was taken as a compliment, not as sexual harassment."

As reported by The Sydney Morning Herald, Pengilly made the statement during a Movember event yesterday when asked about the sexual harrassment claims against local TV personality Don Burke and Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein.

"I really loved the '60s and '70s when life was so simple and you could slap a woman on the butt and it was taken as a compliment, not as sexual harassment,” said Pengilly.

Pengilly is yet to comment further on the statement.
