'Adore' is taking over the country.
Amy Shark's #2 placing on last week's Hottest 100 was an incredible effort and on the back of the annual triple j countdown, her hit track, Adore, is in prime position to go one better this week on the ARIA Singles chart.
According to midweek figures, the song is set to blast into the top three of the chart and will contend for the #1 position against UK heavyweight, Ed Sheeran.
After debuting on the chart at #40 last month, Adore climbed to #13 this past week and now, thanks to the Hottest 100, Shark is a serious chance to take out top spot.
It will be no easy feat however, as Sheeran's Shape Of You and Castle On The Hill are expected to remain in the top three.

New tunes dropping this week come from Melbourne's Tash Sultana with Jungle (#3 on the Hottest 100) and Martin Garrix & Dua Lipa with Scared To Be Lonely.
Over on the Albums chart, Sultana's debut LP, Notion, is looking to climb into the top ten as are fellow Aussies, The Avalanches' Since I Left You and Flume's Skin.
Kasey Chambers is in a good position to retain #1 with her fifth album, Dragonfly, while US rock band Train are aiming for a top five debut with their tenth LP, A Girl, A Bottle, A Boat.
Other albums dropping this week include Brian & Jenn Johnson's After All These Years (top ten), Kehlani's Sweetsexysavage, Brantley Gilbert's The Devil Don't Sleep, Kreator's Gods Of Violence (all top 30) and Aurora's My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend (top 50).
