Due to hit Perth Arena this Saturday, comedian and actor Amy Schumer has cancelled her entire Australian tour at the 11th hour.

Schumer's tour promoters Live Nation cite illness as the cause of the cancellation, though Schumer has not yet elaborated on this.

The statement also reads, "Due to Amy Schumer’s tight schedule it is not possible to schedule replacement dates however, we will be working to confirm a return to Australia as soon as is practical."

Schumer was just announced to rewrite and take the lead role in the upcoming Barbie film, due out in 2018.
