Details of the first Live It Up festival have been announced this afternoon, with the brand new Brisbane event kicking off with a very strong Australian line up.

The Amity Affliction, Pez, The Getaway Plan, Chance Waters, Pigeon and Messrs are all bands well loved by the underage contingent of music lovers around the country, so they seem very suitable acts to head up the festival in its first year.

According to the festival website, entry to the show will be restricted to people aged 17 and under and there will be a zero tolerance policy with regards to alcohol, drugs and cigarettes.

The festival is also offering young attendees the chance to be "promoters", promising the chance to earn "literally hundreds of dollars" by selling tickets and promoting the event.
