One of the biggest names in the new generation of hip hop stars, Wiz Khalifa, has today locked in one more Australian show to take place when he visits our country in January of next year. Sydney audiences will have the chance to see Khalifa in headline mode when he takes over the Enmore Theatre early in the New Year.

His mixtapes – he's got eight of them now – have been spread far and wide since he started dropping them back in 2005 and he's done pretty tidy business off a series of official LPs as well; his fifth, Blacc Hollywood, is due before the year is out. Check out Paperbond from his 2012 LP O.N.I.F.C.

He has crossed over into the pop world with appearances with the likes of Maroon 5, T-Pain and his uncle Snoop Dogg, but has also retained his love of dirty club bangers throughout all this. His style is diverse, his rhymes are explosive and he and his band will tear the Enmore down on Friday 3 January.
