Just in time for Halloween

More The Snowdroppers More The Snowdroppers

Grimy blues rock Sydneysiders The Snowdroppers have today dropped their new video for White Dress just in time for Halloween.

The video for the track, which is the first single to their second album Moving Out Of Eden premeired on theMusic.com.au today.

Inspired by cult horror films the video was directed by Josh Groom and sees the members of the band collect female body parts before creating a corpse bride.

“We wanted parts of the video to have that sinister gritty, grainy look that is often used in 1980s B-grade splatter flicks,” said Groom. “To do so, we shot on a Canon 5D mk3 and then degraded the footage by playing the finished edit onto a VHS tape and dubbing over itself numerous times. We've kept the live performance footage clean so as to really pop in contrast.”
