"I hope you can forgive us, because we've been keeping secrets."

More All Time Low More All Time Low

Pop punk heavyweights All Time Low have been teasing vague clips on social media all week, finally releasing a brand new single overnight and big news: that they left longtime label Hopeless Records over a year ago and have been signed to respected pop punk label Fueled By Ramen since then.

In a long statement from frontman Alex Gaskarth, he writes, "I hope you can forgive us, because we've been keeping secrets. Since the beginning of last year, we have officially been signed to Fueled By Ramen records, the very first label we ever showcased for during our senior year of high school.

"From Hopeless Records, to Interscope, and back to Hopeless, we've come up listening to the bands on the FBR roster, working together on outside projects, watching with pride and admiration, looking forward to the moment when timing and purpose would align, affording us the chance to come in under their wing. So, here we are; a year spent in secret on a new label, writing songs and brainstorming for what comes next. I'm happy to say that we can finally deliver."

The band have been signed to Hopeless for four of their six full-length records, briefly jumping over to Interscope for fourth record, 2011's Dirty Work. Having returned to Hopeless for 2012's Don't Panic and 2015's Future Hearts, this will be All Time Low's first time on Fueled By Ramen, boasting the longtime mainstream successes of Panic! At The Disco, Paramore and, more recently, Twenty One Pilots. Fueled By Ramen also released Fall Out Boy's debut record, Take This To Your Grave, before the band jumped over to Island.

Gaskarth's statement makes reference and sends thanks to their "Hopeless Records family", but doesn't mention the reason for their departure, nor why the news was kept on the down-low for so long.

"Sending all our love and gratitude to the Hopeless Records family, without whom we wouldn't be in this position now. Thank you for supporting us and breaking down wall after wall with us as we navigated this wild ride together. You guys have been incredible to work with over the years. Good people go far, which is why you all continue to crush it day in and day out. Thank you."

Ahead of their Australian tour this May, the Baltimore quartet have released their first single, Dirty Laundry, a brooding, rather synthy, track that will hail from the band's next record.

Hopeless Records commented on the band's new track on YouTube with, "Congrats to ATL & FBR. Excited for their next chapter, but Alex, Jack Rian and Zack will always be part of The Hopeless family. Nothing but love."
