Mariah Carey's 1994 Christmas classic All I Want For Christmas Is You has scored itself a new accolade this festive season, setting the "new one-day streaming record" on Spotify.

According to Billboard, the track was played a whopping 10.8 million times on December 24.

Carey has now beaten the record previously held by XXXTentacion's track SAD! which was at 10.4 million plays on the streaming service the day after his death in June.
