My Shame Is True is apparently their most dynamic record yet.
Chicago punk rockers Alkaline Trio have the kind of cult following other bands dream about. Across their 17 year career, they have managed to sustain a fervent bunch of fans and have rewarded this loyalty by pumping out albums at a pretty impressive rate, so we're not all that surprised to hear that the band are back in 2013 with My Shame Is True.
Recorded with none other than Descendents and Black Flag drummer - and punk rock producer to the stars - Bill Stevenson, the record is another example of the passionate punk rock these three dudes are so adept at putting down. But we're told it also sees them venturing into some musical territory a little less familiar for the group and its fans, which is something to look forward to.
The record will once again be released through Epitaph/Warner in Australia and will hit shelves around the country on Friday 5 April. You can hear the first single, I Wanna Be A Warhol, below.
