Sydney artist Alison Wonderland has penned a deal with prominent American dance and electronic record label Astralwerks.

The DJ, producer and singer-songwriter will be represented by the label in the states, meaning she joins a roster that includes current EDM favourites Deadmau5, Duke Dumont and Hot Chip, and one that has released classic albums from veterans Fatboy Slim, The Chemical Brothers and Kraftwerk.

Wonderland, whose North American shows are handled by The Windish Agency, also adds to the heavy Aussie contingent on the two-decade old Astralwerks, including Empire Of The Sun, Nervo, Gold Fields and Dirty South.

The deal will see Wonderland unveil her most recent EP Calm Down in the states on Tuesday 11 November. The record features her recent hits I Want U and Cold. It was released locally via EMI earlier this year.

Next on the Sydney-sider's agenda is playing a few festivals on home soil (see theGuide), completing her debut album — slated for an early 2015 release — and touring in the US.

Wonderland is booked and managed locally by Falcona.
