Alice Ivy, Pretty City Selected To Attend Canadian Music Week

Two of our very own acts have been revealed on the first wave of Canadian Music Week showcase acts — Melbourne electro-soul artist Alice Ivy and fuzz rockers Pretty City.

Both acts will head over to the Toronto conference in April 2017 to dip their toes in the North American and Canadian markets.

Alice Ivy in particular was awarded $3,000 from Creative Victoria's Music Works Quick Response grant program specifically to go towards funding her trip to the Canadian conference, as well as a US showcase tour.

The Melbourne musicians will attend Canadian Music Week alongside acts from the US, the UK, Ireland, Italy, France, Mexico and even Mongolia.
